Textiles on Parade!

 

Everyone has a creative soul at ICS.  Art students recently had the chance to express their creativity using fabrics, threads, buttons and cloth. The result was a colorful array of sewn and stuffed animals, vests, hand puppets and small quilts. 

 

Before these works of art were sent home, Amy Bitcover, ICS art teacher, organized a cheerful and simple parade on the school grounds.  It was a wonderful way to celebrate the work of the students and to end the week just before winter break.
